Us Eager eye

By Barbara van Limburg-Stirum Apr 30, 2020

We creatives are visual. We thrive on stimuli and beautiful images, we try to enrich ourselves and develop our creativity even further through all the beauty that can be seen around us. But in these times there is less to see outside our screen - the hatch to the world.

To meet this need, there are fantastic initiatives by, among others, the Rijksmuseum, you can take a virtual walk through the gardens of Monet in Giverny and there are many beautiful alternatives during this period.

Not only museums will keep their doors closed for a while, but unfortunately the World Press Photo Festival will not take place this year. Around the eager eyes to accommodate all of us, they have a fantastic alternative: in collaboration with Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam, they send April 30 at 3:30 PM An Livecast out! The moderator of this is Lars Boering, Managing Director of the World Press Photo. In this Livecast you will be guided through a very diverse and broad program, with an emphasis on global protests; the featured theme by the winners of the 2020 World Press Photo contest.
