Koekepeer
Stories of flesh and blood?
Koekepeer works with NGOs, public institutions and commercial organisations. On journalism, communication and marketing.
Not driven by an agenda, but by an independent perspective. Always looking for the core. For stories that go beyond the noise of the moment. We call them stories of flesh and blood.
From storytelling and documentary work to campaigns and, sometimes, a complete brand, with a new name and visual identity. Because in the end, how people percieve you and your organisation is a story too.
Why?
From a young age, I have wanted to understand how the world works.
Why does one person step onto the dance floor, while another stays on the sidelines? How does a nuclear power plant really work? The stock market. Love. Politics. The human body. Technology. How strong is metal? What can you build with it, and when does it break?
That curiosity has always been there.
It led me to journalism.
And to music, photography and film.
I often get asked:
What does Koekepeer mean?
To me, it means curiosity.
Our core team

How we work.
Our aim is simple: to touch people and get them moving. Sometimes that starts with a workshop in a boardroom. Sometimes with boots in wet grass. Each time we step into a new world. We research, listen, understand, write and shape the story.
We look for the most interesting voice. We collaborate with strong creatives and engaged clients. Always asking ourselves how to tell the story in the best possible way.
Sometimes that means travelling to the other side of the world with a backpack and a camera. Sometimes it means standing on a beach in the middle of the night with a full film crew and light generators.
Whenever we can, we invite nature into the script, along with its most beautiful moments. That first ray of sunlight is free. It will cost you a few hours of sleep, but once you see the images, the alarm clock almost feels like a friend.
And honestly, who is not curious about what a new day might bring?
